The role of the Learning Support Coordinator is to focus on supporting the needs of those students who require extra assistance at school. This role involves supporting the teachers, parents/carers and education assistants who work with these students.  It involves sourcing equipment and liaising with Speech therapists, Consulting Teachers and Occupational therapists as well as other support networks.

At Nulsen Primary school the Learning Support Coordinator conducts and organises Case Conferences each Semester.  These meetings involve parents/carers, teachers, education assistants and other speciality agencies, these meetings offer an opportunity for all parties to get together and discuss the best learning experiences for the student  in order for them to reach their potential.
